The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) waitlist for children needing services continues to grow, leaving families struggling to navigate delays in care. Additionally, only a small number of providers submit waitlist data to HHSC, which means decision-makers are often working with an incomplete picture of the true scale of the issue.
