Treaty Oak Strategies is proud to congratulate Associate Madeleine “Maddy” Richter-Atkinson on her recent academic achievements and to celebrate her transition into a full-time role with the firm.
Maddy recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, earning both a Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture. Her dual degrees reflect a strong commitment to public service and thoughtful policy development—values that align closely with Treaty Oak’s mission.

Over the past several years, Maddy has been an integral member of the Treaty Oak team. While pursuing her graduate studies, she consistently delivered exceptional work for clients, managing complex assignments with professionalism, precision, and insight. Her ability to balance a demanding academic schedule with meaningful contributions to the firm has been nothing short of impressive.
Throughout her time with Treaty Oak, Maddy has distinguished herself through her strong work ethic, collaborative approach, and dedication to producing high-quality results. Clients and colleagues alike have come to rely on her analytical skills, attention to detail, and thoughtful perspective on policy issues.
Effective June 1, Maddy has officially joined Treaty Oak Strategies in a full-time capacity. In this expanded role, she will continue to support clients with the same level of excellence while taking on additional responsibilities across the firm’s growing portfolio.
“We are incredibly proud of Maddy and thrilled to have her join our team full time,” said Laurie Vanhoose.“ Her contributions have already made a lasting impact, and we are excited to see all she will accomplish in this next chapter.”
Please join us in congratulating Maddy on this significant milestone. We look forward to her continued success and leadership at Treaty Oak Strategies.
